Richland County Court Docket is a private reference resource. Official court records, current hearing settings, certified copies, and case-specific questions must go to the court or clerk that holds the original file.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private resource cannot retrieve a docket, reset a hearing, alter a case, issue a certified copy, or provide legal advice. Direct those matters to the named court or clerk.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

The right contact depends on the court printed on the case paper. For Common Pleas General Division civil or felony-criminal work, the official record custodian is the Richland County Clerk of Courts, Legal Division. Probate, Juvenile, municipal, and mayor's courts maintain their own case files.

  • A Common Pleas docket or record: use CourtView Case Inquiry or call the Legal Division records channel.
  • A current General Division setting: compare the official calendar and docket, then contact the courtroom or Court Administrator.
  • A certified Common Pleas copy: identify the case and exact item before asking the Clerk for the current quote.
  • A Mansfield, Shelby, Probate, or mayor's-court matter: contact the local court shown on the paper rather than assuming the county Clerk keeps it.
  • A route to start with: review the local case search, court calendar, or court records page.

For Common Pleas Legal Division records, contact Richland County Clerk of Courts, Legal Division, 50 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH 44902, at 419-774-5549. The office is listed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call first because a file can require inspection or redaction review before copying.
